Recruitment of Zila Sainik Welfare Officer at Kamrup (R), Bongaigaon, Golaghat, Sivasagar and Hailakandi.

Applications alongwith Bio-Data are invited from retired Defence Service Commissioned officers/  retired Honorary Commissioned Officers  for the post of Zila Sainik Welfare Officer at Kamrup  (R), Bongaigaon, Golaghat, Sivasagar and Hailakandi.
Qualification: Must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.
Age: Not more than 57 years of age at the time of selection.
Terms of Service:
1) The term of appointment is on contractual basis, initially for two years and extendable by two years at a time subject to satisfactory performance  but  in  no  case  extendable beyond 60 years of age.
2) Appointment will be made by duly constituted selection Committee.
Status: Class-I for retired Officers.
Class-III for retired Honorary Commissioned Officers.
Pay & Allowances: Fixed Pay (Last pay drawn less Pension plus DA at the time of re-employment)
Choice of Station: Applicant must give three choices of Districts.
Date of Submission of : The applications complete with requisite bio-data alongwith  relevant documents should reach the undersigned on or before 25 Mar 2015 in sealed envelope inscribing thereon as “ Application  for  the Post of Zila Sainik Welfare Officer”.
Rejection of Application: The applications of the ineligible candidates will be cancelled without assigning any reasons/intimation.
Date of Interview: Will be intimated to the eligible candidates, whenever finalized.
TA/DA: No TA/DA would be eligible for attending the interview.

Directorate of Sainik Welfare Recruitment of L.D. Asstt. , Peons and Chowkidar in various Zila Sainik Welfare Offices

The Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB) is responsible for the welfare of the Ex-servicemen and their dependents and also for administration of welfare funds. The KSB is assisted in its task by 32 Rajya Sainik Boards (RSBs) and 392 Zila Sainik Boards (ZSBs), which are under the administrative control of respective State Governments/Union Territory Administrations. The Government of India bears 75% of the expenditure incurred on the organization of RSBs in respect of the States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh and 60% for other States/UTs while the remaining expenditure is borne by respect State Governments since welfare and resettlement of ESM is the joint responsibility of the Central Government and State Governments.
