Indian Army Recruitment Notice 2017 for LDC,Material Assistant,Tailor,Tradesman & MTS : Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the following posts. The scale of pay and specification of the posts are given below :-

The last date for receipt of application is 21 days from date of publication of the  advertisement in the Employment News. In case of candidates belonging to Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Sikkim, Laddakh Sub Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul & Spiti District of Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island and Lakshadeep shall be 28 days from the date of publication of the advertisement. However the crucial date for determining the age limit for all shall be the closing date for receipt of application i.e. 21 days from publication.
Minimum Essential Qualifications:-
  • (a)Material Assistant – Graduate in any discipline from any recognized University or Diploma in Material Management or Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from any recognized Institutions.
  • (b)LDC    – (i)12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
    (ii) English typing @ 35 WPM on computer or Hindi typing @ 30 WPM on computer(35WPM & 30WPM corresponding to 10500/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
  • (c) Tailor(Skilled) – Matriculation or its equivalent qualification with a  certificate in the trade of Tailor from ITI or equivalent diploma or certificate.
  • (d)Tradesman  Mate(Erstwhile  Mazdoor)-  Matriculation  pass or  equivalentfrom  recognized  Board.  Must  be  physically fit  and  capable  of  performing strenuous duties.
  • (e) MTS(S/Wala) – Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognized Board.
 Age limit and its relaxation :
  • UR –  18  years to 25 years .
  • OBC  – 18 years to 30 years
  • SC/ST – 18  years to – 30 years
  • ESM  – The  age  will  be  calculated by applying  formula  i.e.  service rendered    in    Army/Navy/Air Force  shall  be  deducted fromthe  actual  age  and  resultantage  should  not  exceed  the maximum   upper   age   limit.
  • PH – prescribed for the post by more than 3 years UR – 18 years to 35 years OBC  – 18 years to 38 years SC      – 18 years to 40 years
Candidates will fwd application properly sealed, in an envelope to the address mentioned against the  post applied for through Ordinary/Registered/Speed post.
Application  in person will not be accepted. Candidates are requested to super subscribe the word ‘APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF___________’ on the top of envelope  while sending the application form. Application without any superscription on the  envelope  will be rejected.

  • (f)  Certificate of disability  issued by the CMO/Civil Surgeon of Govt Hospital for physically handicapped persons. Disability  percentage of physically handicapped persons  should be minimum 40%.

Armed Forces Medical Services SSC Officer Jobs

Applications are invited from Indian citizens both male and female, who have passed their final MBBS (Part-I & II) examinations in first or second attempt and completed internship, for grant of Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services. Applicants who have taken more than two chances in final MBBS (Part I & II) Examination are not eligible to apply.
VACANCIES:400 (Four Hundred)
QUALIFICATION: The applicant must possess medical qualification included in First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of IMC Act 1956. The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI.
Post graduate degree/diploma holders e.g. MD/MS/MCh/DM/DNB/DLO/DOMS/DA may also apply.
Note : Only those candidates who have completed/will be completing their internship on or before
31Mar 2015 need to apply.
AGE LIMIT: The candidate must not have attained 45 years of age as on 31 Dec 2015.
METHOD OF SELECTION:
(a) INTERVIEW: Eligible candidates will be called for interview by a Board of Officers in the month of Apr-May 2015 at New Delhi to assess their suitability and merit for grant of Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services. The candidates who qualify in the interview will be subjected to the Medical Examination tests. The candidates appearing for interview for the first time will be paid to and fro sleeper-class railway/bus fare.
(b) PHYSICAL & MEDICAL STANDARDS: Every candidate on being qualified in interview will be produced before a Medical Board duly constituted by DGAFMS for examining his or her medical fitness as per laid down standards. The proceedings are confidential and will not be divulged to anyone. However, candidates declared unfit by the Special Medical Board (SMB) will be intimated by the President of the Special Medical Board the procedure for requesting an Appeal Medical Board (AMB). Unfit candidates should report for AMB within a maximum period of 42 days. Candidates are advised in their own interest to appear for AMB well in time and should not wait for the last date given by the SMB. Candidates are advised to note that DGAFMS/DG-1A has no role to play in Appeal Medical Boards (AMB) and procedure advised by the medical authorities is strictly to be
adhered to. Candidates declared unfit by AMB will be intimated by the President AMB about procedure to challenge the findings of AMB. Candidates are also intimated that Review Medical Board (RMB) will be granted at the discretion of DGAFMS based on the merits of the case and that RMB is not a matter of right. Candidates will be considered medically fit only on receipt of approved medical documents. Pregnancy , if detected at any stage, after selection at interview or during pre-commission Medical Examination will render the candidate as unfit and hence debar the candidate from grant of commission.
NOTE : Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo a preliminary medical check
up for wax in ears, DNS, defective colour vision, over weight/underweight, piles, gynaecomastia, tonsilitis and varicocele before reporting for the SSC interview.
MERIT LIST : It is to be noted that mere qualifying at the interview does not confirm final selection. A merit list is prepared purely on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in interview
alongwith NCC background, if any. Those high in the merit list and figuring within the stipulated vacancies and are Medically Fit are issued joining instructions for commissioning as SSC officers.
EMPLOYABILITY:
Being a Medical officer of Armed Forces Medical Services, the candidate on grant of commission is liable to be employed as per service requirement in any part of the country or abroad, in Army, Navy or Air Force. They may have to work independently in the units allotted to them.

Following the expansion in its scope, functions and activities, this Advertising unit was declared an Attached Office of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting on October 1, 1955.
