APSC Recruitmnet Notice for Junior Engineer (Civil) / Fishery Extension Officer

The Assam Public Service Commission came into existence on Ist April, 1937 in accordance with the provision of the Govt. of India Act, 1935 with Mr James Hezelett, a retired ICS officer from London, as its first Chairman. Till framing a new regulation in 1951, five more officers mostly retired ICS officer, held the office of the Chairman for different period after Mr James Hezelett.

3 Astt. Food Analyst (Class-I) M.Sc in Chemistry or M.Sc in Food & Drug from a recognized university. Age Limit : 21 yrs to 38 yrs as on 01-01-2015

Written Test/Interview : If the number of applications received is large, the i. Commission may short-list the number of candidates either on the basis of their marks obtained in the qualifying academic examination required for the post in terms of advertisement. ii. APSC Recruitment Notice for Various Positions - March 2015

The Assam Public Service Commission came into existence on Ist April, 1937 in accordance with the provision of the Govt. of India Act, 1935 with Mr James Hezelett, a retired ICS officer from London, as its first Chairman. Till framing a new regulation in 1951, five more officers mostly retired ICS officer, held the office of the Chairman for different period after Mr James Hezelett. On India becoming Republic, the regulations of the Commission were framed by the Governor of Assam in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 318 of the Constitution of India and the same came into force w.e.f. Ist September 1951. Also in the same year the Assam Public Service Commission (Limitation of Functions) Regulation was promulgated in exercise of the powers conferred by the provision of clause II of Article 320 of the Constitution.
Applications in plain paper indicating name, date of birth, present and permanent address, email ID and contact numbers(s), office address, present post held, name of the organization, educational qualifications with photo copies of certificates, experience and nature of work done with certificates may be addressed to "Director of Training, Assam Administrative Staff College, Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-781022". In case of government employees, applications may be submitted through proper channel. Candidates will have to appear before an interview board where original copies of all testimonials will have to be produced. No TA and DA shall be paid for attending the interview. Candidates will be informed individually regarding the date and time of interview. The term of post engagement will be initially for a period of one year renewable every year, subject to satisfactory performance and receipt of financial assistance in the form of grants —in-aid from Government of Assam. Further the engagement will be on the basis of terms and conditions prescribed by the Government of Assam. The last date for submission of applications for each of the posts mentioned above is April 13, 2015.
