Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Assam with assistance from the World Bank is currently engaged in implementation and sustainable maintenance of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project in seven districts of Jorhat, Kamrup(M), Hailakandi, Bongaigaon, Sivasagar, Sonitpur and Morigaon, Assam.

    Remuneration: Rs. 5.04 Lakh Per Annum

  • Qualification & Experience :
      MCOM/MBA(Finance)/CA/ICWA or equivalent
    Minimum 3 year of relevant working experience in budgeting,Accounting,financial management for large scale programmes/projects etc.
    Experience of working in Government programmes or externally aided projects preferred.
    Must be computer literate, knowledge of tally software will be an added advantage.
    Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.
    Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.

  • Remuneration: Rs. 5.04 Lakh Per Annum

  • Qualification & Experience :
      Master degree in engineering, social science, environmental science,water and sanitation, or a related field;
    3 years of professional development experience in the WASH sector, and significant project management experience;
    Experience in implementing, designing, or coordinating WASH in rural community ;
    Familiarity with community-based sanitation programs, and with a diversity of latrine designs for rural communities;
    Knowledge of SLWM technology options and experience in implementing SLWM activities in rural areas
    Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.
    Fluency in English, Hindi and local language is necessary and desirable;
    Willing to travel extensively in rural areas.

  • No. of Positions Place of posting :1 (One) for SPMU office in Guwahati

  • Remuneration:Rs. 20,000-25,000(Inclusive of all incentives)

  • Qualification & Experience :
    Graduate in Commerce from a recognized Institute
    Minimum 2 years of relevant post qualification experience in budgeting, financial management, accounts and audit
    Candidates working in similar capacity in Government projects/PSU/Externally aided projects will be given preference
    Experience of working with Tally software.
    Sound knowledge of Government Accounting, Income Tax, VAT and other Taxation matters.
    Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.
    Must be computer literate and should have knowledge MS-Office,Internet, e-mail etc.
    Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.

  • Remuneration:Rs. 10,000 per month

  • Qualification & Experience :
    Graduate in any stream from recognized institute
    Minimum 1 year of relevant post qualification experience in office administration/file management/office correspondence etc
    Must be computer literate and should have diploma in computer application and type writing
    Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.


The remuneration for the above mentioned posts will be subject to negotiations, performance, skill and delivery. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/written test. The candidates are requested to attend the interview/written test at their own cost. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates for appearing in the interview/written test.
