APSC Recruitmnet Notice for Junior Engineer (Civil) / Fishery Extension Officer

The Assam Public Service Commission came into existence on Ist April, 1937 in accordance with the provision of the Govt. of India Act, 1935 with Mr James Hezelett, a retired ICS officer from London, as its first Chairman. Till framing a new regulation in 1951, five more officers mostly retired ICS officer, held the office of the Chairman for different period after Mr James Hezelett.

Junior Engineer (Civil)/ Fishery Extension Officer job position in Assam Public Service Commission

2 Junior Engineer (Civil) Diploma in the Civil Engineering from any Engineering Institute recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Preference will be given to those candidates having experience in extension/supervision of civil works under Fishery Department. 32 Rs.5200 to

3 Astt. Food Analyst (Class-I) M.Sc in Chemistry or M.Sc in Food & Drug from a recognized university. Desirable : Preference will be given to candidates having uniform academic career and experience in handling sophisticated equipments in a reputed Laboratory of Research Institution. 05 Rs.12,000 to Rs.40,000
Age Limit : 21 yrs to 38 yrs as on 01-01-2015

Written Test/Interview : If the number of applications received is large, the i. Commission may short-list the number of candidates either on the basis of their marks obtained in the qualifying academic examination required for the post in terms of advertisement. ii. By holding Screening test (Multiple choice objective type written examination) which will be notified in due course.
