In continuation of the office advertisement vide No. EB/2-191/39/42 dt. 17.01.14 and as per instruction of Govt. vide letter No. B & NH/ET/95/2014/34 dt. 06.12.13,  Application are invited in the prescribed standard application form as published In the Assam Gazette Pt-IX from the Intending candidates for filing up vacancy posts as mentioned below under the Establishment of Executive Engineer, PWD, Rangia NH Division, Rangia.

1.Name post: Junior Assistant

  • Total No of Post:02 Nos.

  • Educational Qualification:
    (i)Must  have passed HSLC examination or equivalent from any recognized University or Board
    (ii)Diploma/Certificate from registered recognized Institute/Board in Computer application in MS Office Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel.
    (iii)Diploma in type writing both in Assamese & English

  • Scale of pay: Pay Band-2- Rs.5200/- to 20200/- Grade pay Rs.2200/- plus other allowances as per rule.

  • Reservation : ST(P)-01 , SC -01.

  • Place of Posting :Under the jurisdiction of  PWD Rangia NH Division.


2.Name post: Peon.

  • Total No of Post:03 Nos.

  • Educational Qualification:Minimum educational qualification read up to class-VIII

  • Scale of pay:  Pay Band-1- Rs.4560/- to 15000/- Grade pay Rs.1500/- plus other allowances as per rule

  • Reservation : ST(H)-01 , Gen -02.

  • Place of Posting :Under the jurisdiction of  PWD Rangia NH Division.


Terms and condition : 1. Candidates/applicant must be an Indian citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. 2. Candidates serving in Govt. Dept. should submit their application through proper channel. 3. Candidates must not be less than 18 years or more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2014. The upper age in relaxable as per Govt. norms for ST/SC and person with disabilities and 2 (two) years for Ex. serviceman. 4. Candidates must have registered their name in the Employment Exchange and the Registration No. and date must be mentioned in their application.

5. The application must be accompanied by the following :
(a) Attested copies of all certificate/Mark sheet in support educational qualification. age & Caste etc.
(b) Two copes of recent passport size photograph duly attested by Gazetted Officer.
(c) Application shall furnish the certificate of good character from the Principal/Head of the Educational Institution in which he/she studied last and certificates from two responsible persons who are well acquainted with (But not related) to the candidate.
(d) A self addressed envelope (size 22 cm x 10 an) affixing postal stamp Rs. 5.00 (Rupees five) only
(e) Attested copies of Computer literacy certificate from registered/recognized Institution.
(f) Attested copies of Diploma/Certificate from recognized/registered Institution for the type wilting in English and Assamese with speed 40 words per minute and 30 words per minute respectively
6. Candidates/applicants will have to subscribe the name of the post and reservation category applied at the top of the sealed envelope carrying the application form and will be received upto 5.00 pm (i.e. office hour).
7. The last date of receipt the application e 30.9.14. No application will be entertained after the last date fixed.
8. Desirable experience and other qualification.
9.The candidates heaving proficiency is speaking English and local language will be given preference. 9. The incomplete application will be rejected without any intimation to the candidates.
10. The candidates/applicants who have applied for the post of LDA(Junior Asstt.) will have to appear in a written test and those who qualify in the written test will have appeared in a Computer test/Type writing test and Oral Interview. The date and time will be communicated in due course.
11. No TA. and D.A. will be bone by the Dept for attending interview.
12. Department will not be responsible for any loss of application on transit or for postal delays.
13. Application received late or without proper supporting documents or an incomplete stage will be summarily rejected.
14. Canvassing directly/indirectly will be treated as disqualification of candidature.
15. The candidates for the post of peon will have to appear only in an oral interview. The date and time will be communicated in due course.
16. The candidates/applicants who had already been applied the above mentioned post need not apply again.
17. Pension scheme Govt servants joining the service of the State Govt on or after 1st Feb/OS shall not be Governed by the existing Assam Service (Pension) rules, 1969 and order Issued there under from time to time so far as their pension rule are being formulated in time with the contributory pension scheme announced by the Govt. of India vide finance Dealt. Circular No. 8W-3/03/Pt-Ill/A dt. 25.01.05. The selected candidates will have to submit an undertaking to the appointing authority that they will abide by the new pension rules of the Government.
